ANNOUNCEMENT from the Town of New
Baltimore
FREE RABIES CLINIC
March 23, 2005, from 7-9 p.m.
Medway-Grapeville Firehouse, Route 51
The Town of New Baltimore would like to announce that a free RABIES
CLINIC will be held at the Medway-Grapeville Firehouse on Route 51 on
Wednesday, March 23, 2005, from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., sponsored by the
Greene County Health Department.
The County Health Department holds six free rabies clinics
yearly. The clinics are free to all Greene County Residents
for vaccination of dogs, cats and ferrets. All dogs need to be on
a leash and cats and ferrets in a carrier. Animals must be 3
months or older. For more information, please call Greene County
Public Health Department 719-3600.
Reminder: Licensing your dog is required under New York
State Law and ensures your dog’s safe return if lost. If your dog
strays without a license, recovery from an animal shelter could be
costly to you. Dog license fees are: $7.50 (neutered
or spayed) or $15.50. The license requires rabies shots
every 3 years. Pups need a preliminary shot and a second a year
later. The opportunity to license your dog will be available at
the Rabies Clinic on March 23, 2005, or licenses can be obtained at the
New Baltimore Clerk’s Office, New Baltimore Town Hall, Route 51,
Hannacroix, NY, Monday-Thursday, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., and
Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 Noon.
The Town of New Baltimore thanks you for your cooperation in this
effort.
