Town Hall Appointments

Town Hall is open to serve residents only by appointment at this time. Please call (518)756-6671 to make an appointment.  Extension numbers are listed for each department. Town Board meetings are open to the public with the number of attendees limited to 12.

The Town Hall is located on County Route 51, approximately 1 mile west of Route 9W. The Town Clerk's Office is located at the Town Hall. Certified copies of birth/death certificates, copies of zoning laws and ordinances, hunting and fishing licenses, and dog licenses are available at the Clerk's Office.

The Town Board holds its regular monthly meeting on the 2nd Monday and a work session on the 4th Monday. These meetings begin at 7:00 pm, are held at the Town Hall, and are open to the public.

The Planning Board meets on the second Thursday of the month.

Town Hall Use Agreement

The Governor issued an Executive Order requiring that everyone must have a mask or fabric covering of their mouth and nose if "social" distancing cannot be followed effective Friday, April 17. Examples include public transportation, grocery stores, busy streets, etc.

Effective June 4, 2020 Town Hall has entered Phase Two and will reopen Monday-Friday from 9AM-4PM. Please do not enter if you are not feeling well; Wear a facial covering or mask; Maintain social distancing; Limit to only 1 person in your party entering; Limit of 2 people in Town Hall at one time -- If more than 2, please wait outside and enter when someone leaves the building; Use hand sanitizer. Full Time CDL Driver/Heavy Motor Equipment Operator Position

The Town of New Baltimore Highway Department is accepting applications for a full time CDL driver/heavy motor equipment operator. Applicants must have a minimum of a clean CDL Class B license. Applicant must be able to perform labor duties including but not limited to shoveling, raking, weed whacking, lawn mowing, operating chain saws, and brush clipping. Heavy equipment operation such as front end loader, backhoe, tractors, etc. a plus. Experience plowing snow with a large truck with plow and wing preferred. Must be willing and able to work long hours, including nights and weekends, during winter months for snow and ice removal. Applicant must pass pre-employment drug screen and alcohol test and random drug and alcohol testing at any time and authorize driver’s license check. The successful candidate will be considered probationary for six months beginning at hire date. Court Hours Special Notice

Due to the extensive backlog of cases due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Court Hours will be starting at 2PM every Tuesday, excluding Tuesday, November 3, 2020 (where no court session will be held) until further notice.

Be advised that the Court Office will be CLOSED 15 minutes BEFORE Court Starts.

Anyone scheduled to attend Court, MUST enter via the Main Red Door at the Court Room, where you will sign in, and have your temperature taken. Masks are mandatory. Please be prompt and dress appropriately for court.
